Introduction
Hello, my name is Evan and I started my personal finance journey about a month ago and thought I should share it with everyone, or no one since not many people will see this lol. When I first started I thought everything was extremely complicated and had no where to begin. I started with stocks as I thought that was the best way to make money and as of now, I still believe that. However I noticed there is much to know when looking for stocks to purchase such as if they give you dividends (an amount of money the company pays you yearly or quarterly) and the outlook of them. Personally I prefer to look at S&Ps or ETFs which are safer types of stock (don’t quote me on that) which you keep for long periods of time and keep reinvesting the interest they receive. As of now this most of my knowledge and plan to learn much more and tell you guys about everything. Thank you for reading this and taking the time out of your day.
